Our Intro to Pole class is built for absolute beginners. You'll learn basic spins, walks, and floor work in a 60-minute class led by a certified instructor. Wear shorts (yes, skin grip on the pole matters) and a comfortable top. Bring water. We provide everything else.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do I need to be in shape? No. Pole builds strength as you go. Most beginners can do their first class with zero prior fitness experience.
  • How old do I need to be? 18+ for all classes.
  • Can I bring a friend? Yes — many beginners come with a friend. Just make sure each person registers separately.
  • What if I'm nervous? Everyone is on their first day. Our instructors and community are known for being warm and zero-judgment. Read our Yelp reviews.
  • Is pole dancing a good workout? Yes. A single pole class engages your core, shoulders, back, arms, and legs. It's a full-body strength workout combined with cardio.
  • How long until I can do tricks? Everything you learn can be a "trick"! Most students learn their first spins in their first class and can climb the pole within 6–12 weeks of regular practice weekly.
