Tease Policies
Welcome to Tease Studio & The Pole POD
By creating an account, booking a class, or making a purchase with Tease Studio or The Pole POD, you are agreeing to all of our studio policies. We keep these policies posted here so that everything is transparent and fair for every client who walks through our doors, and we enforce them consistently and without exception. Policies may be updated at any time, and when they are, we will let you know by email and post the changes right here on our website. We ask that every client take a few minutes to read and understand them — it keeps the studio running smoothly for everyone.
The Pole POD is a self-access training space, which means our policies work a little differently than a staffed studio. By creating a profile, completing your waiver and policy agreement, and booking a POD, you are agreeing to everything below. Access to the space requires a completed profile, a signed waiver and policy agreement, and a completed tour — if any of these are missing, you will not be able to access the studio for your booking, and standard cancellation policies will apply.
Getting Access to the Pole POD
Profiles are created through the Tease Studio app, and all POD purchases are made there as well. Before your first session, you must come in for a tour during our posted reception hours — tours take about 15 to 20 minutes, and they're where you'll review policies, test your door access, and learn the space. Staff hours are posted on our website under the Contact tab and updated weekly; if you need a time outside those hours, email thepolepod@gmail.com and we will do our best to accommodate you, though appointments outside posted hours are not guaranteed. Please make sure email from Tease Studio isn't blocked, since your door access link arrives by email. Day passes must be booked within 48 hours of purchase, as your door access booking window expires after that.
Class Sign-Up
Our class sizes are intentionally small, so we strongly recommend booking in advance through our website or studio app. Payment is due at the time of booking, and a valid card on file is required for all accounts. Please note that clients may only book classes for themselves — if you'd like to bring a friend, have them create their own account and we'll happily welcome them too!
Cancellations & No-Shows
Because our classes are limited in size, a spot you hold is a spot another dancer can't take. To keep things fair for your fellow students, we ask that you cancel at least 6 hours before class begins. If you cancel inside that window, members will see a $10 late cancel fee charged to the card on file, while package, punch card, drop-in, and third-party clients will forfeit the class as if it had been attended. If you miss a class entirely without canceling, members are charged a $20 no-show fee, and package, drop-in, and third-party clients forfeit the class plus a $20 fee. Any outstanding balance must be cleared before booking again. Private Sessions
Private lessons and semi-privates may be rescheduled or cancelled up to 12 hours before your session time. Inside that window, or if you don't show up, the session is forfeited. Your instructor reserves that hour just for you, so please give us as much notice as you can.
Waitlists/Late Arrivals
Joining a waitlist is a commitment to attend if a spot opens up. If you are moved into class, our standard cancellation policies apply from that moment, so please make sure notifications are turned on in your account. If you're never added to the class, nothing is charged — no harm, no foul.
We ask everyone to arrive about ten minutes early so you can check in, settle in, and warm up safely. Entry is not permitted more than ten minutes after class begins — at that point your spot may be released to a waitlisted client. Please note that morning classes lock at start time, as there is no front desk staff to let latecomers in.
The Pole POD
Our PODs are designed and insured as private, single-person training spaces, so only one person is permitted in an individual POD. Friends are absolutely welcome at the POD — they just need their own profile, their own tour, and their own booking. Bringing an unregistered guest into the space ("tailgating") is a serious safety and security violation and carries a fine of up to $250, and can result in losing access to The Pole POD in the future.
The POD runs on trust, and every client agrees to leave the space as they found it. Cleaning procedures are covered at your tour, and fees will apply — along with possible membership suspension — if PODs or the common room are not cleaned as agreed. A $10 fee applies for lights left on. Mirrors are not to be moved; if a mirror is damaged, replacement costs will be charged once they are received, with a minimum charge of $250. If your heels leave tar or marks on the floor, heel covers are required. The reformer may not be used outside of scheduled classes. And please note the front door marked "door to remain closed at all times" must never be opened or unlocked except in an emergency — doing so triggers our alarm system and carries a $250 alarm activation fee.
Booking Limits
To keep PODs available for everyone, no client may reserve more than 2 hours of POD rentals in a single day.
Purchases Are Final
No refunds, transfers or credits. All purchases at Tease Studio and The Pole POD are non-refundable and non-transferable. This includes classes, packages, POD rentals and memberships as well as privates, parties, workshops, retail, gift cards, and rentals. We price our offerings fairly and keep our class sizes intimate, and final-sale purchasing is part of how we make that work.
Special orders and clearance items are final sale. Special orders will require a card on file and deposit/ purchase made in advance.
Every client is responsible for keeping valid billing information on file — it's required for bookings, memberships, and any fees connected to your account. If a balance sits unpaid for more than 30 days, we may charge the card on file. Returned or failed payments carry a $25 fee, and your booking access may be paused until things are squared away. Balances that remain unpaid may be sent to collections, in which case the client is responsible for collection costs of up to 30%, reasonable legal fees, and interest of 18% per year. We would much rather work something out with you directly, so if you're ever in a bind, please just email us.
If you ever see a charge you don't recognize or believe is a mistake, please email us at manager@teasestudio.com before disputing it with your bank — honest mistakes happen, and we will always make them right. By agreeing to these policies, you agree to give us that chance first. Filing a chargeback on a valid charge (including late cancel, no-show, membership, or fee charges made under these policies) is a breach of these terms. While a dispute is open, your account and booking privileges will be suspended. Once a dispute is filed a $25 dispute processing fee may be added to your account, any services or credits tied to the reversed charge are forfeited, and any remaining balance becomes due immediately. We keep records of policy agreements, bookings, sign-ins, and communications, and we will provide them as evidence in any dispute.
Property Damage
Please treat our space and equipment with the same care and respect you'd want shown to your own. Clients, members, party guests, and rental clients are financially responsible for any damage to studio property or equipment caused by negligent, reckless, or intentional conduct, or by breaking studio rules — for example, using lotion or oils on equipment, wearing prohibited jewelry, or exceeding posted equipment limits. Repair or replacement costs will be charged to the card on file or invoiced and are payable within 20 days. If you book a party or rental, you are responsible for damage caused by your guests. Normal wear and tear is never charged — that's just part of dancing.
The Pole POD specifics- Clients are financially responsible for damage to POD equipment, poles, mirrors, monitors, or the space itself caused by negligent, reckless, or intentional conduct or by violating POD rules. Repair or replacement costs will be charged to the card on file. Because the space is monitored, damage can and will be reviewed on camera. Normal wear and tear is never charged.
Memberships & Payment Plans
Memberships and payment plans must be paid in full according to your agreement, and your payment obligation continues whether or not you attend classes during the month. Non-payment may result in your balance being sent to collections. If your circumstances change, reach out — we would rather help you adjust your membership than see you fall behind.
All membership changes and cancellations must be submitted by email to manager@teasestudio.com at least 30 days before your next billing date. Text messages, DMs, and voicemails cannot be accepted as valid notice — email gives both of us a written record. Some of our commitment memberships carry minimum terms that will be listed in the membership name/ description and on client profile: ending a commitment early carries a $250 early termination fee.
Need a break instead? Members may freeze their 6 and/ or 12 month membership in one-month increments, up to one month per contract term. Freeze requests must be emailed to manager@teasestudio.com at least 30 days before the first day of the month you'd like frozen. You will not be billed during frozen months, and billing resumes automatically when your freeze ends.
Gift Cards/ Sale Items
Gift cards may be used toward services, merchandise, and memberships. Discounted or promotional gift cards are redeemable for the amount actually paid. All packages and promotions on gift card carry expiration dates, which are listed at purchase. Gift cards for dollar amounts do not expire but will only be redeemable for the amount paid. If you need a little more time, packages purchased directly from the studio can be extended by 30 days for $25 — just ask before your package expires by calling the studio or emailing manager@teasestudio.com. Groupon purchases are not eligible for extensions.

Third-Party Bookings
Bookings made through ClassPass or other third-party platforms are managed entirely through that platform — we are unable to modify, cancel, or adjust them from our end. All studio attendance policies, including late cancel and no-show rules, still apply once you're on our schedule.
Schedule Changes
Our schedule is a living thing — classes may change due to instructor availability, enrollment levels, or studio operations. Substitutions and cancellations do not qualify for refunds, but when we cancel a class, your credit is always returned to you.If the studio is open, standard policies apply — Denver dancers are a hardy bunch. If we make the call to close, your class is returned to your account with no penalty.
Communication
Official studio communication happens by email, on our website, WhatsApp and through postings in the studio. We do our best to keep you in the loop, and we ask that you do your part by keeping your contact information current and staying informed.
Client Etiquette
Tease Studio is an 18+ space, and during regular classes we do not allow observers — this protects the privacy and comfort of every dancer in the room. (Private parties are the one exception: non-participating guests 18 and over are welcome to watch and cheer from the seating area.) Please arrive ten minutes early, check in before class, and leave pets at home. Intoxication of any kind is strictly enforced against — this is a safety issue on poles and aerial equipment, full stop. Phones stay put away during class unless your instructor approves them, and we ask everyone to follow instructor guidance and keep class free of disruptions. Respect is the whole foundation of this space.
Pole & Equipment Safety
Everyone starts at Level 1, and moving up requires instructor approval — our curriculum builds safely from one level to the next. Before class, please skip the lotion and remove jewelry or anything else that could damage equipment or skin. Self-teaching and spotting other students are not permitted; that's what our certified instructors are for.
Non-Solicitation
To ensure the best studio experience, we respectfully ask staff, students, and visitors not to solicit outside businesses within the studio. We maintain a strict non-solicitation policy out of respect for everyone's privacy and comfort while here at Tease. If you would like to promote your business to our community, we offer a designated space within the studio where anyone is welcome to post their business cards — please see a member of our front desk staff for assistance. This is a safe space for all, meaning we will respect you, but you must respect us as well. If you are soliciting in the studio, we have the right to ask you to leave the space without refund or credits.
Studio Standards
We reserve the right to refuse service when needed to protect the safety, experience, and integrity of our space. Policies, schedules, and instructors may change, and we ask our clients to stay informed and respect studio operations.
Tease Studio is a space built on respect, accountability, and community. We're here to create an incredible experience — and we expect the same respect in return. The Pole POD exists so you can train on your schedule, in your own space, any hour you need it. That freedom only works when every client protects it — clean up, badge in properly, and treat the space like it's yours, because for that hour, it is. We can not wait to dance with you soon!
Tease Social Media Policies
Our Digital Community
Tease Studio (Teaser 2 Studio) and The Pole POD's social media platforms — Instagram, Facebook, and beyond — exist to foster connection, celebration, and positivity within our dance and fitness community. We hold our digital spaces to the same standards as our physical studio: respect one another, celebrate individuality, and uplift the community. These guidelines help keep our pages a respectful, inclusive, and drama-free space for everyone, and by participating on our social media pages you agree to these rules along with the studio's broader policies.
What We Love to See
Share your Tease experience! We love seeing your photos and videos from the studio — the spins you finally nailed, the classes that made you laugh, the milestones worth celebrating. We simply ask that you never post media that includes other students or staff without their explicit consent, and that you avoid tagging or sharing photos and videos that feature others without their permission. This protects the privacy and comfort of everyone in our space, because what happens in the studio should only leave it with everyone's blessing.
We also love hearing from you. Post your class requests, feedback, kudos, and questions any time — our team is always listening and engaging. And if you'd like to promote your personal business to our community, we're happy to help the right way: we offer a designated area inside the studio for business cards and fliers. Just speak with the front desk to get set up.
What We Can't Allow
To keep our pages focused on our community, third-party business promotion, sales, or solicitation is not allowed on our platforms unless explicitly approved, and content unrelated to Tease Studio's offerings, classes, or community may be removed. Most importantly, any comments or posts that are defamatory, disrespectful, discriminatory, harassing, abusive, or explicit will be removed immediately — and repeat violations may result in being blocked or banned from our platforms. We don't take that step lightly, but protecting this community always comes first.
The Fine Print
Tease Studio reserves the right to remove any content or comments at its discretion and without prior notice, and to update these guidelines at any time.
Let's Stay Connected!
This is your space, your studio, and your vibe. Keep it classy, sassy, and full of Tease love.
