Tease Policies

Tease Studio Policies

By creating a profile, attending classes, and/or purchasing any class, package, membership, private session, or event through Tease Studio or Teaser 2 Studio, you are acknowledging and agreeing to our studio policies.

It is your responsibility to read, understand, and follow all policies in full. There are no exceptions to these rules, and we are unable to make individualized policy adjustments. We strongly encourage every client to review this policy page in its entirety and stay up to date with communications, as updates may occur at any time.

Class Sign-Up Policy

  • While drop-ins are welcome, we highly recommend reserving your class in advance, as many classes sell out and have limited capacity.

  • Payment is required at the time of sign-up for single classes or packages.

  • You may register for classes via:

  • Clients are only permitted to register themselves for classes. We do not allow clients to sign up on behalf of others.

Policy Notes & Updates

  • All policies apply to both Tease Studio and Teaser 2 Studio.

  • Policies were last updated 1/2025 to reflect changes in fees and cancellation windows.

  • We reserve the right to update policies at any time. Changes will be communicated via email and posted on our website.

Cancellation & No Show Policy-

Due to our limited class sizes and high demand, we require 8 hours' notice for all class cancellations or reschedules to retain the class credit.

  • Late Cancel (less than 8 hours before class):
  • Unlimited/autopay members: $15 fee charged to card on file
  • Punch card/drop-in/third-party bookings: Loss of class + $10 fee
  • No-Show (did not attend and did not cancel):

  • Unlimited/autopay members: $20 fee
  • Punch card/drop-in/third-party bookings: Loss of class + $20 fee

⚠️ A valid payment method must be on file to process fees. Fees must be paid before booking another class. We unfortunately cannot make any exceptions to this policy. All members are required to have a form of payment on file for the late cancelation fees that they acquire. If there is not a form of payment on file the account will be charged and must be paid before attending another class.

Private Lesson Cancellation Policy

Private sessions must be canceled at least 12 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows for private lessons will result in loss of the session. No exceptions.

Wait list policy ::

Our classes are often full, but our waitlist gives you the chance to grab a spot if one opens!

  • When you join the waitlist, it is treated as a confirmed class registration. If you are moved into class, standard cancellation and no-show policies apply.

  • You will receive an email or text if you are moved into class.

    • Up to 1 hour before class: Notification sent via your MindBody preferences

    • Less than 3 hours before class: Tease Studio will contact you directly

  • If a spot doesn’t open, you will not be charged and your class credit remains in your account.

⚠️ Please ensure email and SMS notifications are enabled in your MindBody profile. We unfortunately cannot make any exceptions to this policy.

Late policy ::

  • If you are more than 10 minutes late, your spot may be released, and you will not be allowed into class.

  • For morning classes (6:30 AM–12:20 PM), doors lock at start time due to no front desk.

  • If you're running late, please call us before class begins so we can try to hold your spot.

  • If you late cancel or no show from a registered class, you are subject to Tease Studio cancelation policies and will be charged $20 late cancel fee if you are a monthly member. If you have a class package (drop in, punch cards, packages), you will lose your class AND be charged $10. If you do not have a card on file, you will not be allowed into class until the late cancelation fee is paid.

Class Schedule Changes

At Tease Studio and Teaser 2 Studio, we are always growing—and we love that! As class demand evolves, we may adjust the schedule to better serve our clients and prevent overcrowding. While we strive for consistency, please understand that some schedule changes are unavoidable.

Substitutions

  • Instructor substitutions may happen due to illness, scheduling conflicts, or personal matters.

  • All of our instructors offer unique specialties and styles, so finding an exact substitute may not always be possible.

  • When substitutions occur, credits or class transfers will not be issued.

Cancellations

  • Occasionally, classes may be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances such as:

    • Severe weather

Client Etiquette

At Tease Studio, we’ve built a space centered around confidence, community, and respect. Help us maintain that energy by following these expectations:

In-Studio Etiquette

  • All students must be 18+. For liability and safety reasons, no minors or children are allowed in the studio during class hours.

  • Phones off the floor unless explicitly allowed for freestyles or emergencies. Let your instructor know if you need to keep your phone nearby.

  • No observers are permitted during classes.

  • Do not interrupt ongoing classes. You may quietly enter to change or prepare if you're scheduled for a later session.

  • Arrive at least 10 minutes early—especially if it's your first time.

  • Check in at the front desk before class—even if the staff knows you.

  • Be respectful and attentive while instructors are teaching.

  • No pets or animals allowed in the studio during classes.

  • Zero tolerance for intoxication: Anyone suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be asked to leave immediately for the safety of all participants.

Pole Class Etiquette & Safety

We take pole safety seriously—both to ensure your progress and to protect everyone in class.

Progression & Skill Levels

  • All new students must begin with Pole Technique Level 1.

  • Advancement is based on instructor approval only. Our levels are structured intentionally for safety and progression.

  • If you register for a class above your level, we may ask you to reschedule.

Safety Guidelines

  • No rings, bracelets, or sharp metal buckles/shoes on poles or equipment.

  • No lotion on the day of class—residue makes the poles dangerously slippery.

  • New tricks must only be taught and spotted by instructors—not other students.

  • Never spot or coach others in class. This is a liability and safety issue, and we will ask you to stop or leave if this occurs.

Equipment & Weight Limits

  • Pole, lyra, and sling equipment have a manufacturer-set weight limit of 375 lbs.

  • For your safety, please inform us if you are above this limit before participating.

Shared Equipment

  • Expect to share poles, lyras, or slings during class.

  • We encourage you to connect with new students—or bring a friend!

Non-Solicitation Policy

To maintain a welcoming and distraction-free environment, we ask that all staff, students, and visitors refrain from promoting or soliciting outside businesses within the studio space. If you would like to share your business with our community, we offer a dedicated space at the studio for business cards or flyers. Please speak with a front desk staff member for placement approval. We appreciate your respect for this policy as we work to keep Tease a space focused on empowerment, movement, and community.

Respect, Responsibility & Studio Culture

We’re a small business fueled by passion, hard work, and the love of what we do—and we serve a community of clients who inspire us every day.

Please help us continue doing what we love by:

  • Respecting staff, space, and each other

  • Not taking advantage of studio resources, staff generosity, or policies

  • Bringing kindness and good energy into every class, session, or event

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who disrespects the space, its people, or our policies. We never want to use that right—but we will if needed to protect our community.

Change Is Inevitable, Kindness Is Essential- Schedules shift. Instructors rotate. Policies evolve. We promise to do our best to keep you informed—and we ask that you do your part by reading studio emails, notes, and updates.

This is a safe, inclusive space for everyone. That respect flows both ways: we promise to respect you, and we ask that you respect us in return.

We can’t wait to dance with you soon. 💫
